For 25 years, I worked extensively in the commercial industry, focusing on building and reconstructing various companies both financially and by planning and building new, much-needed infrastructure. Although I truly loved my career in industrial development, my heart was always drawn to designing and building beautiful properties—both commercial and residential. Over time, I learned the many pitfalls and valuable lessons involved in house flipping and remodeling, while Betsy’s passion for designing stunning, functional spaces became a refined skill honed over many years. Combining our unique talents and shared passion, we founded The Flippin Designer to create and build exceptional properties that stand out.
TFD began to grow steadily, evolving into a well-known and deeply respected design company, with Betsy’s creative vision and expert talent at its very core. When I approached retirement, I made the decision to become a full-time asset to ensure the seamless integration of both the construction and design elements on every TFD project. Soon after, I fully transitioned into this role, allowing us to expand our services beyond just design and construction planning. We took on additional responsibilities such as drafting detailed floor plans and full house plans, eventually progressing to custom design-build projects. This development truly marked a pivotal turning point for TFD, significantly strengthening our capabilities, broadening our scope, and enhancing our reputation within the industry.
Today, TFD proudly offers a comprehensive range of services, including Architectural Design, Interior Design, Landscape Design, and Design Management.
